Product Designer

Full-timeNew York, USAApply before Oct 31, 2026

Keplaris is a New York product engineering studio, founded in 2025. We build and run our own SaaS products — GeoIPHub for real-time IP intelligence, ClickFortify for click-fraud protection, and Tether, our internal security product — and we design and build for clients across e-commerce and the web. Everything we ship for a client meets the same standard as the software we run ourselves.

We believe design is what separates software people tolerate from software people trust. Our products live in dashboards where someone is checking traffic, catching fraud, or making a call with real money behind it — the interface has to be clear, fast, and honest.

The team is small and senior: engineers who care about craft and expect a designer who can meet them there. You won't hand off mockups into a void. You'll sit with the people building your designs and see them live within days, not quarters.

This is our first dedicated design role, which means you're not inheriting a design system — you're writing it. The patterns you set will define how every Keplaris product and client build looks and behaves from here on.

What we look for

  • Dashboard fluency. You've designed data-heavy SaaS interfaces — tables, charts, filters, alerts — and you know how to make density readable instead of overwhelming.
  • Commerce sense. You understand e-commerce design: product pages, carts, and checkout flows where every confusing pixel costs a sale.
  • Systems thinking. You build in Figma like an engineer builds in code — components, variables, and tokens that scale across products instead of one-off screens.
  • Engineering partnership. You work directly with engineers, understand what's cheap and what's expensive to build, and adjust designs without losing their intent.
  • Craft under constraint. You make things beautiful and shippable. You'd rather launch a tight, polished v1 than present a stunning concept that never leaves the file.
  • Clear rationale. You can explain why a design works — in writing, to a client or an engineer — without leaning on taste alone.

What you'll do

  • Design the UX and UI for GeoIPHub and ClickFortify dashboards — the screens where users investigate traffic, configure protection, and decide whether to trust what they're seeing.
  • Lead design on client work: Shopify storefronts, marketing sites, and SaaS interfaces built by our engineering team.
  • Build and maintain the Keplaris design system in Figma — components, tokens, and documentation that engineers actually use.
  • Pair directly with engineers during implementation, reviewing builds and refining details until the shipped product matches the design.
  • Shape product decisions early — you'll be in scoping conversations, not just handed requirements.

What we offer

Competitive pay, a remote-first US team anchored in New York, and real product ownership — your design decisions ship into products we run, and you'll see how they hold up with real users. As the first designer, you set the visual and interaction standard for the whole studio. Small team, no design-by-committee, direct line to the founders.

How to apply

Email main@keplaris.com with your portfolio — we want to see shipped product work, especially dashboards or e-commerce, with a few sentences on the problem and what you decided. A Figma file that shows how you structure components tells us more than a highlight reel.
