Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Full-timeRemote, USAApply before Sep 30, 2026

Keplaris is a New York product engineering studio. We build and operate our own software — GeoIPHub, a real-time IP intelligence API; ClickFortify, click-fraud protection for ad spend; and Tether, our internal residential-proxy security product — and we take on client work in e-commerce, web, and API development that we hold to the same standard as our own products.

Founded in 2025 and remote-first across the US, we exist to prove that a small, sharp team can ship software that runs in production, serves real traffic, and earns its keep. We don't hand off deliverables and walk away. We build things, run them, and stand behind them.

The team is deliberately small: engineers and designers who own whole problems, not tickets. Everyone here touches production, talks to users, and ships work they're proud to sign.

This role sits at the center of everything we do. You'll work across GeoIPHub and ClickFortify — services that have to answer fast and stay up — and across client builds where the deadline is real and the quality bar doesn't move. If you want your code in production and your name on the result, this is the job.

What we look for

  • Production ownership. You don't consider a feature done when it merges — you consider it done when it's running, monitored, and behaving under real load. You've been paged before and made the system better afterward.
  • Depth in our stack. You're strong with TypeScript, Next.js, and Node, and you're comfortable in PostgreSQL beyond the ORM — schema design, query plans, indexes, and knowing when the database is the problem.
  • Range. You can move from an API rate limiter in the morning to a client storefront in the afternoon without losing quality in either. Product work and client work both get your best.
  • Quality bar. You write code other people can read, test what matters, and refuse to ship something you'd be embarrassed to debug at 2 a.m.
  • Pragmatic judgment. You know when to build, when to buy, and when to delete. You optimize for the system working, not for the cleverness of the solution.
  • Clear communication. You write well, explain trade-offs plainly, and keep clients and teammates informed without being asked.

What you'll do

  • Build and operate features across GeoIPHub and ClickFortify — API endpoints, data pipelines, dashboards, and the infrastructure underneath them.
  • Lead client builds end to end: scoping, architecture, implementation, launch, and the follow-through that makes clients come back.
  • Own PostgreSQL performance and data modeling decisions for services where lookup speed is the product.
  • Set engineering standards — code review, testing, deployment practices — for a team that's still small enough for your defaults to become the company's defaults.
  • Work directly with founders and designers; there are no layers between you and the decision.

What we offer

A remote-first US team, competitive pay, and real product ownership — not a roadmap handed down from somewhere else. You'll work on software we run ourselves, see your decisions play out in production, and shape how a young studio builds for the next decade. We keep the team small on purpose, which means your work is visible, your judgment matters, and there's nowhere to hide and no reason to.

How to apply

Email main@keplaris.com with your resume and a link to your GitHub or to work you've shipped. Tell us about one system you built and ran in production — what broke, and what you did about it. We read every application.
